Sara Crockett is a singer-songwriter from Ahoghill with a love of all things Country. Following on from supporting Nanci Griffith in the Belfast Nashville Songwriter's Festival in February 2013, Sara was invited to perform as part of the Festival's Showcase in Nashville alongside hit songwriters like Lee Roy Parnell and Benita Hill in venues such as The Bluebird Cafe, and sang live on WSM 650 am on "The Music Row Show", the station that is also home to the Grand Ole Opry.
In the summer of 2013 she released her debut EP "Better Be Gone", produced by Grammy Nominated Tre Sheppard. The title track of the EP received great support both locally and on a wider scale, having been playlisted on Downtown Radio and has received airtime as far afield as Australia, New Zealand and Nashville. Sara played many gigs both at home and away throughout the year including slots in venues across Nashville in the summer, the Grand Ole Opry in Glasgow, Belfast Music Week and Culture Tech Festival in Derry/Londonderry for which she was handpicked by George Jones of Downtown radio to play on the main stage at Guildhall Square.
